With thousands of miles of trout streams accessible only by foot, a guided wade trip with Asheville on the Fly is a great way to get disconnect from the world and connect with the fish. Wade trips take place across western North Carolina and east Tennessee. Wade trips are productive all year.
TRIP OPTIONS
FULL DAY wade
A full day trout wade trip offers anglers the best opportunity cover the most water on some of the southeasts classic trout streams. Full-day wade trips include non-alcoholic beverages, custom stream side lunches, and first class instruction. Our full day trout wade trips consist of approximately eight hours on the water.

HALF DAY wade
Half day trout wade trips fit in a lot of fishing in a short amount of time. Half day wade trips can be scheduled for a morning or afternoon start time. This is a popular option for anglers looking to combine fishing with another activity on the same day. Beverages and snacks will be provided. Our half day trout wade trips consist of approximately four hours of fishing time.

Your guide will provide you with: non-alcoholic beverages, snacks and a full custom lunch.* We also supply our guests with waders, wading boots, rods, reels, terminal tackle and custom tied flies specifically for our waters.
*Lunches are included on full day trips but may be requested on half day trips for an additional cost.

Not included in our guided trips are a fishing license and guide gratuity. A link to a state appropriate fishing license can be found on our FAQ. The industry standard for guide gratuity is an additional 20% of the trip cost for a job well done.

Additional Trip Information
Most guide trips will meet around 8:00 a.m at a convenient location, but we are happy to accommodate any special needs or requests in regards to start time, meeting location, etc. The price of the trip includes all rods, reels, flies, terminal tackle and anything else you need for a successful day on the water. Please note that the only items not included in our pricing are your fishing license and guide gratuity. The industry standard for gratuity is 20% of the trip cost for a job well done. Deposits
At the time of booking, a deposit of $100 per reserved guide is required to secure your trip date. This amount will be applied to your trip cost.
Cancellations
Cancellations made prior to 30 days before your trip will refund full trip cost. Cancelled trips inside of 30 days forfeit the $100 booking deposit.
